Accreditation

Newborough Teacher Training Institute has received accreditation for its Early Childhood Montessori Certification course from the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE). We are also registered as a Private Career College under the Private Career Colleges Act. 2005 - PCC #103181.

Our History

Newborough Training College began in the U.K in 1979 and opened in Canada from 1980 to 2000.

With Sybil Taylor's guidance, Newborough Teacher Training College was established in Canada and certified as a post-secondary vocational institution in the Province of Ontario. The college has built a global reputation for greatness, with our graduates working in Canada, the U.K, South East Asia, South America, Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Spain.

Newborough Teacher Training Institute was established in 2008 and offers a part time Montessori Early Childhood Education course to adults who wish to benefit as educators in the Montessori Method of teaching children ages 2 ½ through 6 years.
